Just thought I'd post something here to say I hope things are alright. The site hasn't updated in over a month, now. I haven't even seen any posts about something being wrong or things being delayed. Which is not to say that the only value this site or its creators have is in providing content for me to mooch off of. But historically no news is a clear indicator of lots of bad news, and I thought perhaps it would be worth at least offering a supportive hug, and my thanks for a really wonderful story. Even if it never continues, I'm glad to have gotten as much as we have.

I have been using this time to read through the entire archive.

On artist Sarrah's last page (url: ...cid=-300) where Surgeon and Blue are being boiled for om-noms, JGray wrote:  "Hiatus is a nasty word in the webcomic world. It can mean the death of a comic as readers get tired of waiting. There are plenty of webcomics out there and a regular schedule is essential to keeping people's attention."

I certainly hope this is only a hiatus and that it ends soon...the unique potential and creativity of MotA must not be allowed to fade away.

Perhaps Guest Flinn is on to something... our author may be conducting vital diplomacy, etc. with his fellow Grays.  May he return planetside soon with souvenirs and a tropical shirt.
