It's about time that happened.
Real-world time that is, not neccesarily comic-time. :p

I wonder why it's so common for this to happen in stories at critical times, as if the protagonist didn't have enough on his/her mind what with being in mortal danger, now you dump all those romantic feelings and thoughts on top of it as well.

Actually, it makes complete sense. In a high-stress situation like that, many of your body's chemicals are getting pumped into you, double-time. The big ones are, of course, adrenaline and various hormones. Thus, the big damn kiss either before or after a climactic battle. Alternatively, they beat the BBEG and run for a shag as fast as their legs (or other analogous body parts) can carry them.

Been around since page 12. Checking back more or less regularly even when there was a hiatus.
Great to see you always coming back to this. I've seen too many great projects wither away when the artists lost interest or had to stop working on it temporarily for other reasons.
